Fire chiefs are warning residents in Derbyshire to beware of bogus calls from people claiming to work for the fire service.
Fake Replica Chopard Watches HandbagsA number of members of the public have contacted Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service after they were contacted by people who said they were selling advertising space in magazines on behalf of the fire brigade.
Cllr Paul Smith, Fire Authority chairman, said: "We want to warn members of the public not to be taken in by these people. We have been told that these bogus callers have been using the name of the Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service in an attempt to sell advertising space in various magazines or for calendars.
"We would ask anyone who is approached in this way to report the caller to the relevant authorities."
Rob Johnson, watch manager from the Community Safety Department, said: "Members of the Fire and Rescue Service never sell advertising space and are not affiliated to any fire and rescue service magazine or calendar. We Fake Jaeger Lecoutre Watches have been advised that if you have been approached in this way, you should contact your local trading standards department."
